Spent 4 hours chasing a signal drop that was just a loose connector behind the wall plate

Took me forever to find that one bad compression fitting hidden behind a customer's new entertainment center, has anyone else spent a whole afternoon on something that stupid simple?

Oh man, I had the same thing happen with my dryer cord! I ended up sealing every tiny hole I could find with steel wool and foam, and then put a bell on my cat for good measure.

The real trick is finding WHERE the mouse got in because if you just fix the cable it will happen AGAIN. Had a similar situation and found a gap around a pipe that was smaller than a dime, stuffed it with steel wool and never had issues since. Mice can squeeze through spaces that look impossibly small so you gotta check EVERY little opening.
