Pro tip: My ladder buckled on me mid-job in Phoenix last Wednesday
I was up on a two-story house running RG6 through the attic vent, and right as I shifted my weight to reach the junction box, my fiberglass ladder just gave a loud crack and folded in half like a cheap lawn chair. I went down hard onto the concrete driveway, sprained my wrist pretty bad and ripped my new work pants. Turns out I had a hairline crack in one of the rails from when I hit a low-hanging branch last month, and I never checked it. So there I am, lying on the ground with coax cable tangled around my legs, the homeowner just staring from the kitchen window. I had to call my buddy to bring his spare ladder so I could finish the job. Has anyone else had a ladder fail on them like that, or am I just the unlucky one who learned the hard way?

Damn dude, did you at least check the other rail for cracks before climbing his ladder?

Three rungs up and that rail probably looked fine from the ground... @julia_patel you're acting like he was climbing Everest, sometimes a ladder's just a ladder.
