Finally tried a toner probe after 11 years of guesswork

I've been doing cable installs since 2013 and always just used the old beep and hunt method on walls. Last month I grabbed a cheap toner probe for $35 off Amazon because a customer had a mess of unterminated lines in their attic. That thing found the live line in under 2 minutes when I'd normally spend 20 stripping and testing. Now I carry it on every job and it's saved me so much time on the rewire jobs. Anyone else made the switch from the old school way and never looked back?
