Talked to a 30-year veteran last night and he changed my mind about pre-finishing
I've always been a build-it-then-finish-it guy, never saw the point in finishing panels before assembly. But Bob from the local chapter sat me down after our meeting and showed me some of his work from the last 10 years. He showed me how his pre-finished cabinets have zero tear-out at the joints and the finish is way more even. Now I'm thinking about trying it on my next kitchen job in Burlington, maybe save myself some sanding time. Anyone here stick with pre-finishing after switching?

Did you ever notice how much easier it is to get a smooth coat without fighting the corners and edges? Bob sounds like he knows his stuff, glad he shared that with you.

Life's always like that, the easy parts hide behind the annoyances at first.
