My scrap wood pile hit exactly 1,000 board feet this weekend

I was cleaning the shop and decided to stack and measure all the offcuts I've been saving for 'just in case' projects. The total came to 1,000 board feet on the nose, which is a frankly silly amount of scrap. It's everything from 6-inch maple strips to full 4-foot oak slabs too pretty to toss. My wife saw the neat stacks and asked if I was opening a lumberyard. Has anyone else hit a scrap volume that made you stop and laugh at your own habits?

Honestly same, my backyard is starting to look like a lumberyard. It's a real problem.

Wait, is there a secret contest for biggest scrap hoard? I'm pretty sure @nina735 and I are tied for first, lmao. My garage is basically a firewood stand that got out of hand.
