Bought it back in 2019 for a camping trip, used it maybe twice a week since, and the cheap one has never jammed once, so what is the most boring kitchen tool you have that just refuses to quit?
My grandma's old flour sifter from the 70s is the one for me. It's just a metal cup with a crank on the side, no brand name even left on it, and the mesh looks like it should have fallen apart years ago. I've used it for baking since I moved out on my own in 2012 and the spring in that handle has never once slipped. New ones from the store feel flimsy right out of the box, so I just keep washing this thing by hand and putting it back in the drawer.
