The library quiet room seating chart that killed my book club

My book club of 6 met at the downtown branch last month and I grabbed the big round table like always, but the new seating chart now reserves it for study groups. We ended up split across two tiny tables and the whole vibe fell apart, so I booked a $15 community room for next time. Anyone else had a regular meetup spot get yanked out from under them?
