Three years ago I swore I'd never use a bullet journal for work, but last month I had to track a project with 47 moving parts and my usual spreadsheet just fell apart.

Oh man, I can picture that spreadsheet just melting down. One tab for deadlines, another for who's doing what, then a third tab trying to link them all together. It turns into a digital ghost town where you forget what column holds the important info. The bullet journal probably looked like a crazy person's map, but at least you could see the whole mess on one page. Sometimes you just have to go back to paper and colored pens.

Tried that exact spreadsheet hell last year on a big home renovation. Ended up printing the whole mess and taping pages to the wall just to see it. The turning point was using one giant whiteboard for the main plan and a cheap notebook for daily tasks. Something about physically crossing things off made the chaos feel manageable. The digital stuff is still there for backups, but the paper and markers run the show now.

Did the whiteboard ever get so messy you needed a second one just for the key?
