Yeah, the open concept thing feels more practical once you actually walk through it instead of just seeing it online. Did it change your mind on what you'd want in your own place?

Honestly @jessicaflores, that's exactly what happened to me when I first saw open concept in person. It completely shifted my perspective because the online photos just don't show how cramped it can feel if you don't plan the furniture layout right. For example, you really need to zone the space with rugs or different lighting so it doesn't turn into one big echoey box. Tbh, I would definitely go open concept now but only if the kitchen has good ventilation, otherwise smells travel everywhere. That whole practical stuff is what people miss when they're just looking at pictures online.
