PSA: I used to trim my drywall by eye and then spend an hour sanding down the high spots
Bought a 20 dollar trim router with a flush bit last week and now every joint sits perfect on the first go. Anyone else find that one tool that just eliminates a whole step of frustration?

Got a laser level a few years back, total game changer for hanging cabinets.

Ended up using mine to level pictures and somehow spent an hour on one frame.

Pretty soon you'll be finding excuses to use it on everything. That laser line just makes things look official even when you're just hanging a $10 shelf from the dollar store. One pass and suddenly you're checking if your fridge is level because why not, might as well see if your eggs are going to roll off the counter. It's basically a permission slip to be extra about home projects. Only downside is it makes you realize how uneven your walls actually are, which is a whole other can of worms nobody asked for.
