Almost set my garage on fire trying to build a workbench last Saturday

I was following some YouTube video from a guy in Ohio and used a circular saw to cut 2x4s right on top of a pile of sawdust and old rags. Sparks flew and a rag started smoldering before I even noticed, luckily I had a fire extinguisher nearby. Anybody else have a close call like that when they were starting out with power tools?

Wait, wasn't the bigger issue using a circular saw on top of a pile of combustibles?

Yeah you dont set up a saw on a pile of dry lumber and walk away.
