A client's 3-word email made me ditch my whole blueprint process

She wrote 'just build it' after I spent 2 days on a 3D plan for her garage shelving in Portland, so now I ask for a photo of the space first and sketch during the phone call, has anyone else cut their planning time way down after a similar pushback?
