I used to book flights through third-party sites until I got stranded in Denver last March

Had an overnight delay, and the airline said they couldn't rebook me because my ticket was through a budget aggregator. Now I always book directly with airlines, even if it costs $20 or $30 more. Any tips for finding good deals straight from the carriers?

Oof yeah, third party sites burned me too. I book direct now no matter what.

@jennifer965 I noticed this pattern with everything now too... you gotta go straight to the source or you end up dealing with someone who has no power to actually fix things when they go wrong. It's like people are getting tired of all the middlemen in every part of life these days. That direct approach just saves you so much headache in the long run.
