My coworker's lunch shaming made me double down on budget meals.

She always brings expensive salads and mocks my homemade soups. I save over $50 a week by meal prepping simple recipes, lol. Are food snobs just missing the point of eating well on less?

But like, is it really that deep? Some people just like different food and make dumb comments without it meaning they're insecure about money. Homemade soup is great, but maybe she's just being a bit rude about her personal taste.

Seriously, good for you. That coworker is just insecure about their own spending. Saving that cash is way smarter than her approval.
