Finally chose the store brand tomato paste over the name brand and saved $0.89 for the same recipe.
I used the extra change to grab a bunch of parsley, which made the whole pot of beans feel a lot fancier.

The good toilet paper is a bridge too far, Andrew. I'm still on the single-ply from the big bulk pack I bought in 2020. That eighty-nine cents was a windfall, not a lifestyle change. I can't imagine just casually upgrading something you flush away.
