I used to buy the absolute cheapest phone case every time, but after my screen cracked from a 2-foot drop onto carpet in my Denver apartment 6 months ago, I switched to a $25 Spigen case and haven't looked back.
Has anyone else found that spending a little more upfront on protection actually saves you money compared to constantly replacing the cheapest stuff that breaks?

Reminds me of when I finally bought decent rain boots... my cheap ones kept splitting at the seams every winter.

My Hunter boots lasted 8 years, @xena373, totally worth the upfront cost.

Yeah, that's the worst. You buy the cheap pair thinking you're saving money, but then you're just buying a new pair every single year. Ends up costing more in the long run, not to mention the hassle. Makes way more sense to just get the good ones once.
