Appreciation post: The $12 timer plug that fixed my overwatering problem

I kept killing my indoor plants because I'd forget to water them or drown them on weekends. Spent 6 months trying different routines, even set phone alarms that I'd ignore. Then I grabbed a basic timer plug from Home Depot for $12. Plugged my small pump into it, set it to run for 5 minutes every 3 days. My snake plant actually put out a new leaf last week for the first time in a year. Anyone else have a cheap fix that saved your plants?

Did you have to mess with the pump pressure at all?

My neighbor @jake_owens had a similar setup but his pump was way too strong and flooded his kitchen.

@jake_owens strong pumps are fine you just need a pressure regulator valve in line.
