My uncle in Reno bet me $50 I couldn't skip my cousin's wedding and just send a card, so I did
He laughed and said the family would forgive me in a month, and honestly they did, which messed me up more than the silent treatment would have. Now I keep wondering what else I'm only doing because I think people are watching, anyone else test a rule like that on purpose?
