I started clapping at the end of movies in an empty theater
I was the only person left in a screening of a superhero movie in Phoenix, and when the credits rolled I gave a slow, sarcastic clap for about ten seconds. A cleaner poked their head in, gave me a weird look, and just said 'really, dude?' lmao. Has anyone else done something pointless just because the usual social pressure was gone?

Oh man, that cleaner line killed me. I did something like that after a really bad movie once, just a slow clap for the sheer absurdity of the ending. It felt good to just... mark the moment, you know? Like a little ritual for myself since there was no one else to share the feeling with.

Got caught singing full volume in my car at a red light once. I mean, windows down, really going for it, thought I was alone. Made full eye contact with the guy in the truck next to me who had been there the whole time. Idk, it's freeing when you think no one's watching, even if it turns out they are.

What song was it? I once got so into a guitar solo at a drive-thru that I didn't notice my food was ready, and the worker was just holding my bag out the window watching me air guitar. That shared moment of being seen in your dumb little joy is weirdly nice.
