Showerthought: the dubbed kung fu tape I grabbed at a garage sale in Bakersfield has a guy yelling "you are a chicken nugget" during the final fight
Paid 50 cents for it and the dub is so bad the villain's whole speech is just him ordering a sandwich. Did someone re-dub this as a joke or did the original studio just give up?

That sandwich thing makes me think the dubbers were just reading whatever they had on hand, like a menu or a script from a totally different movie. I've seen a few of these tapes where the voices don't even match the mouth flaps, so the studio probably hired whoever was cheap and called it a day. Your chicken nugget line is proof they stopped caring about matching the action at all.
