Vent: I keep seeing people use the wrong glue for headbands
At the local craft fair last month, I looked at three different booths selling handmade journals. Every single one had a headband glued down with PVA, which is going to crack and peel in a few months. I learned the hard way after a batch of my own books failed that you need a flexible adhesive like paste or a specific flexible glue for that part. Has anyone found a good brand that stays strong but moves with the spine?

Used to think any glue worked until my own books fell apart.

Three whole booths did that?

Ever try the PVA bookbinding glue? That stuff actually soaks into the paper fibers instead of just sitting on top. I fixed a cookbook that lost its spine last year, and it's still holding strong. The cheap white glue I used before peeled right off after a few months.
