Our book debate on symbolism got upstaged by my faulty bookshelf assembly
We were picking apart the metaphors in 'The Great Gatsby' when the shelf I built collapsed. Books flew everywhere, mixing Fitzgerald with my DIY manuals. The group spent the rest of the evening sorting novels instead of discussing themes. I guess my craftsmanship is a bigger topic than the green light now.
