Vent: bought a $180 tube roller stand and it was money down the drain
Saw a video about rolling tube faster with a stand and figured it would save my back on a 40 foot job in Gary last month. The thing wobbled so bad I had to clamp it to the bench and it still walked on every pass. I ended up going back to my old two pipe trick on the floor and finished the run in an afternoon. That $180 could have bought me two new wrap arounds and a decent lunch. Anyone got a stand that actually holds steady, or is this just how they all are?
