Old timer in Gary told me to stop fighting the torch, now my welds lay down flat
He said, 'You're pushing that puddle like it owes you money, let the heat do the pulling,' and he made me redo a test plate with half the amperage and 10% more travel speed. That little tip cut my rework on 3/8 inch plate by 80% this week. Anyone else get a piece of advice that just clicked after years of grinding away at it?
