Warning: I was storing my board games vertically for years until a friend pointed out all the sagging box bottoms

I noticed Dominion and Catan boxes had their inserts completely crushed and cards sliding around, then my buddy said "you're putting 3 pounds of cardboard on top of thin liners every time you stack them sideways" and now I only store big boxes flat with the small ones on top.

Wait, you mean stacking them sideways actually crushes the boxes from the inside?!

Hold up, @hollyg59, are you telling me I've been doing it wrong this whole time? I always thought stacking them sideways saved space, but now I'm imagining all those crushed cereal boxes and dented pasta boxes sitting in my pantry looking sad. I bet that's why my mac and cheese boxes always look like they got in a fight with a freight train. Time to rethink my whole pantry system, I guess.
