We were about to start the final scenario and the whole map just slid onto the floor. Anyone else have a pet that's a secret board game nemesis?

Honestly cats make the game better. That chaos is part of the memory. Our dog stole a monster token once and we had to improvise, it became a house rule. The mess is just another story to tell. Pets aren't ruining game night, they're adding to it.

Man, I have to disagree. That chaos isn't a fun memory for me, it's just lost time and money. My friend's puppy chewed up a character sheet that took weeks to build. We couldn't just 'improvise' that. Replacing a wrecked game like Gloomhaven isn't cheap either. For some of us, that mess is just a frustrating end to the one night we get to play.
