My D&D campaign binder literally fell apart mid-session last Friday

I've been using this old 3-ring binder for like 4 years to hold all my character sheets and notes. Last Friday during a big boss fight, the bottom ring just snapped open and pages went everywhere across the table. Everyone had to stop while I picked up character sheets and sorted out my monster stats. Has anyone else had a game night derailed by basic gear failing on you?

Man that stinks! I had the exact same thing happen with a cheap foam-core tower I built myself. Thing just folded in half right as I was rolling for a critical hit in our D&D session. @loganl22 I know exactly how you felt, it was total chaos - dice and minis flying everywhere while the tower itself landed in the middle of the board like a collapsed house of cards. Took me twenty minutes to sort out what should have been a simple attack roll.
