Friend told me he plays board games just to organize the pieces

I was at a cafe last week and this guy said he buys games to sort all the bits into little containers, then never actually plays them. That blew my mind because I'm the opposite - I just dump everything back in the box. Has anyone else met a pure organizer like that?

Man people get way too bent out of shape about how others enjoy their hobbies. Like who cares if the dude just wants to sort little wooden cubes into Tupperware? It's not like he's hurting anyone. I've got a buddy who spends hours color-coding his Magic cards but has never played a single game with them. We just roll our eyes and move on. Let the guy live his weird sorting life without turning it into some big deal about "wasting" fun.

Wait, he never even plays them? That's wild. I get being neat but buying a whole game just for the containers feels like a waste of good fun to me.

Nah I feel you though. It kinda bums me out when people treat games like just a box of parts instead of something meant to be played. Not judging but it makes me a little sad for them.
