The parking attendant in Chicago who made me apologize to my GPS

After following my GPS into a dead-end loading zone and getting a $75 ticket, the attendant pointed out that my 'shortcut' was just me ignoring the reroute warning, and now I actually listen to that little voice instead of trusting my gut, has anyone else been humbled by a map app they swore was wrong?
