Update: I used to bail on any show with subtitles, then my buddy put on episode 1 of Dark
I refused to watch anything with subtitles for like 8 years, I would just scroll my phone instead. Then my buddy Dave put on the first episode of Dark on a rainy Sunday and told me to actually read it, and by episode 3 I forgot the subtitles were even there. Turns out I was just being lazy and missing out on a ton of good stuff like Squid Game and Lupin. Anyone got other foreign shows that are worth pushing through the first couple episodes for?

Dark is German, not Korean. You grouped it with Squid Game and Lupin like they're all from the same place. Germany, Korea, France. Three different countries. Not a huge deal but it matters when you're looking for more shows. If you liked Dark, check out the original Netflix show it's compared to a lot, which is also German. And for Korean stuff beyond Squid Game, Kingdom is solid. French shows have their own vibe too.
