Unpopular opinion: Binging shows has turned me into a filler episode detector.

Now every slow scene just feels like a waste of my time.

Did you see that thing online about how streaming makes shows feel all samey? I read that writers now pack every episode with big moments because they know we'll binge it all at once. It totally explains why slow scenes just feel like dead air now. I miss when shows could breathe a little without feeling like a waste of time, you know? Honestly, binging might have broken my brain for regular TV, lmao.

Remember this actually started with network TV fighting commercial breaks.

My Netflix queue is just a list of shows where I skip ahead whenever two characters start talking quietly in a kitchen. It's like my brain has been trained to expect a car crash or a secret twin reveal every seven minutes. I watched a scene last week where a guy just made a sandwich, and I got genuinely angry waiting for the bread to be a clue. We broke television by treating every season like a eight-hour movie that's scared of being boring.
