Serious question, did y'all know The Wire is only 60 episodes total?
I always assumed it was this huge commitment because everyone talks about it like a giant book you have to get through. My buddy Marcus pulled up the count on his phone while we were eating wings at a place in Sacramento and I just sat there staring at it. It took me 11 days to finish the whole thing and I felt kind of empty after. What show tricked you into thinking it was way longer than it really is?
everyone talks about it like a giant book you have to get through" is so real. I put off Breaking Bad for years because I thought it was like 90 hours of tv. turns out it's 62 episodes and half of them are like 47 minutes. meanwhile people act like The Sopranos is some endless thing when it's 86 eps total. Greys Anatomy is the real trap, that one's actually 400 plus and still going.
