I finally gave up on that new fantasy show after four episodes
I kept hearing people talk about 'The Rings of Power' and decided to give it a shot last weekend. After four episodes, I realized I had spent nearly five hours waiting for it to get interesting, and it just never did for me. The pacing felt so slow, and I couldn't connect with any of the characters. Has anyone else stuck with a show hoping it would click, only to feel like they wasted their time?

Keep watching, it gets way better after episode six.

That show actually had eight episodes in its first season, not four. The pacing was a common complaint though, especially with how much time they spent in the Harfoot camp. It felt like the main plot with Galadriel and the Southlands took forever to get going. I stuck it out to the end, but it never really picked up speed for me either.
