Got a seized bottom bracket out with a heat gun and a can of Coke.

After letting it sit for a day, the old trick of heating the shell and tapping it with a hammer worked when my usual breaker bar and penetrating oil failed.

That heat and tap trick is a lifesaver when the breaker bar gives up.

Heat guns are overkill. A good breaker bar and some patience always works better.
