Heard a customer on the phone telling someone our coffee shop was 'basically a library' now

I was wiping tables yesterday and this guy at table three was on a call saying, 'Yeah, I just come here to work, it's basically a library, the staff never bother you.' I mean, idk, maybe it's just me but that kind of stung? We're a small shop in Portland and we're told to give people space, but hearing it put that way made me feel invisible. Has anyone else had a customer say something that made you feel like part of the furniture?

Part of the furniture" is a rough way to feel.

Wait, isn't a library where you specifically don't buy anything though? They're buying coffee, so that's a pretty big difference lol.
