A guy in line at my store in Springfield kept calling the self-checkout 'the robot cashier'.
He was telling his friend it was a sign we were all getting fired, but I had to explain that I'm the one who fixes it when it breaks. It's just a machine, not a person. Anyone else get tired of the 'robots are taking our jobs' talk from customers who don't see the work behind it?
