A customer told me I was bagging her groceries too slow and it made me realize I was over-organizing everything
She said "just throw the bread on top, I'm not running a museum" and now I skip the perfect Tetris layout and focus on speed instead, has anyone else had a customer call them out on something that actually helped?

That little push to stop overthinking stuff applies to a lot more than just bagging groceries. Sometimes the best way to get something done is to just do it without making it perfect.

Yeah that whole "perfect is the enemy of done" thing is real. Overthinking hits a lot of people way harder than they realize, especially with stuff like writing emails or even just trying a new hobby. The bagging groceries thing is a good example but really it applies to almost anything where you catch yourself freezing up. Sometimes you just gotta hit send or finish up and move on even if it isn't flawless. The world keeps spinning and nobody is grading your first attempt anyway lol.
