Why does nobody talk about how long it takes to dial in a clean burn on an offset?
Spent 9 hours chasing temp swings on my Old Country Brazos last Saturday and finally figured out my split size was the problem, not the vent settings. I was cutting 16 inch splits when the firebox wanted 10 to 12 inch ones, and once I switched the thing held 250 for 4 hours straight. What size splits are you all running in your offsets?
