Rant: spent 6 hours chasing a 25 degree temp swing on my offset, turned out to be one loose door latch

I kept adding splits and messing with the intake for almost a whole Saturday before my neighbor pointed at the cook chamber door wobbling a hair. Tightened the latch, gasket seated flat, and she held 250 for the next 4 hours straight. Anybody else burn a whole afternoon on something dumb like that?
