One client's two word critique fixed my fade lineup for good
Had a regular in Des Moines tell me my fades were 'too soft' back in March. At first I figured he meant the blend, but he pointed at the line where the 1 guard meets skin and said it needed more contrast. So I started leaving a crisp edge at the bottom before going in with the foil shaver. Took about 4 or 5 cuts to get the pressure right so it didn't look harsh. Now about half my clients ask for that exact style without even naming it. Anyone else get feedback that sounds simple but takes weeks to actually master?
