Update: My local town hall quietly took down the 'community feedback' board after 6 months...
It was a physical corkboard in the lobby where people could pin anonymous notes, and for a while it had some pretty raw comments about the new zoning laws. I checked yesterday and it's just gone, replaced with a framed photo of the mayor. I guess some ideas are too much for a public wall... has anyone seen something similar get quietly removed where they live?

What did they think would happen? That board was asking for trouble.

Wait, is this really that deep? It's just a surfboard, not a life raft or something critical. People mess up gear all the time, it happens. I get that it was maybe a bad call to take it out in those conditions, but acting like it was some huge disaster feels like overkill. Logan said he gets it now, maybe he just had to learn the hard way like most of us do. Not everything is a cautionary tale, sometimes it's just a dumb mistake and you move on.
