Just realized parchment paper has a right and wrong side

Last Tuesday I was making cookies and noticed one batch stuck to the pan while the other slid right off. Took me staring at the box for five minutes to see it says "non-stick coating on one side." Been using it wrong for like 8 years. Anyone else miss this detail?

My buddy put it on upside down for a whole Thanksgiving turkey once.

My grandmother taught me to bake and she never mentioned the right side thing either. I honestly think it's a pretty small detail unless you're roasting something heavy like @terryh20's friend and his turkey. My experience tells me the "right side" is more of a suggestion than a hard rule anyway. But your mileage may vary depending on what you're making.
