Serious question, did anyone else blow $60 on a bread machine in 2019 and use it exactly one time?
I fully believed my $60 bread machine from a Black Friday sale in 2019 would fix my grocery bill, and I even bragged to my sister that I was done buying sandwich bread forever. The thing sat in my pantry for 4 years until I finally hauled it to Goodwill, and the only loaf I ever made came out dense enough to use as a doorstop. Did anyone here actually stick with theirs past month two, or did we all just buy the same counter decoration?
Four years in the pantry is wild to me. I made it maybe three months before mine got shoved behind the rice cooker and never saw daylight again. The part that gets me is you bragged to your sister first, that is the real killer here. I did the same thing to my brother in law and he still brings it up at cookouts. That one doorstop loaf was probably the most expensive bread in history when you do the math.
