Remote onboarding vs. in-person training, which actually works?
I started at a warehouse in Columbus three weeks ago and got trained by a guy who kept pausing to answer personal calls, while my buddy across town learned the same job through a tablet with videos, and honestly the tablet taught him more in one day than I learned in five, so is anyone else convinced that face-to-face training is just a tradition that nobody bothers to question?
Right, because nothing says quality training like watching your trainer scroll through his call log while you guess how to use the forklift. Give me the tablet any day.
