I stopped cleaning the break room for 3 weeks and it turned into a science project
Our office in Boise has one shared kitchen and I was the only person tossing the old coffee grounds and wiping the counter every morning for basically 2 years. So I quit doing it cold turkey right after Labor Day to see how long it took anyone else to crack, and by day 18 there was mold in the sink and someone actually taped a passive aggressive sign to the fridge. How long did it take at your job before the mess forced somebody else to finally pick up a sponge?
My desk at work is like a shrine to the "someone else will get it" lifestyle. The trash can by the copier probably has its own zip code now. Mad respect for lasting 18 days, I would've been the one taping the sign to the fridge by day 3.
