Accidentally hit the emergency stop on a 2-story ladder lift, full parking garage went dark
Was power washing the walkway outside this big office complex in Arlington, the one with the 6 level parking deck attached. Some dude from facilities told me to use the boom lift to reach the upper ledge, but he didn't mention the emergency stop button was right where I put my hand to climb in. I hit it, and the whole garage lighting system flickered and shut off, like every single light on every level. It took me 5 minutes to figure out how to reset it, and by then like 12 cars were honking at the exit gate because the sensors went haywire. The facilities guy just stood there laughing and said "first time?" Has anyone else triggered something way bigger than they expected with one small button?

Did the facilities guy not think to warn you about that button before you climbed in? That kind of setup sounds like a trap waiting to happen, and twelve cars honking while you scramble to reset a breaker is a rough way to learn. At least he got a laugh out of it, but you earned some serious patience points that day.
