My date in Denver ordered for me without asking, a steak cooked 'well done'.
He said it was 'the proper way' for a lady to eat beef. I'm a vegetarian. Anyone else get this weird control thing on a first meet?

What is with that? I had a guy try to order me a salad once, said it was "lighter." Major red flag for sure.

Used to think that was just being polite. Then a friend pointed out it's about control, not health. Really changed how I see those little comments.
