Instant ramen date at my place beat 3 steak dinners
After 4 months of $80+ dinners where the conversation felt like a job interview, I invited a guy over for instant ramen and a six pack of cheap beer. He ended up staying 5 hours, and we talked about his failed band and my weird hobby of reading obituaries, which never came up over table service.
