Found out my uncle keeps a spreadsheet of every gift he's ever given
At Thanksgiving last year, my uncle Greg pulled out his laptop to show me something. He has a spreadsheet going back to 1998 with every birthday and Christmas gift he's given to each family member, color coded by year and with a notes column. I asked him why and he just said it helps him avoid repeats and track who actually uses things. Has anyone else dealt with a family member who tracks stuff like this?

Wait, is tracking used underwear creepy or just good planning?

I read somewhere that some people track gifts not for scorekeeping but because they have anxiety about showing appreciation. Maybe he just overthinks things.
