Warning: I just read that a typical shop vacuum pulls less than half the CFM of a dedicated brake bleeder, and I've been using mine wrong for years.

Watched a YouTube tutorial and thought I had it. Got brake fluid everywhere, even on the cat. Ended up with a spongy pedal and a huge mess. Towed it to a shop the next day, cost me twice what a pro would have charged upfront.

Forget the mess, I mean brake fluid eats paint. Hope your car's finish is okay.
